Learning Terms and Conditions (Australia & New Zealand)

 

Participant Enrolment

Enrolment is subject to receipt of your payment and our confirmation of availability. You must pay for the course upfront unless otherwise agreed. Payment by credit card will attract fees of 1%. 

In the event you do not pay by the due date then we reserve the right to cancel the order or charge you interest at 7% commencing from the due date. 

 

Enrolment Changes By You

Cancellation & Transfer Rights

You may request in writing to cancel, transfer, or substitute your enrolment.

 

For changes requested with 4 or more weeks' notice:

• Full refund available for cancellations
• Course transfer or substitution permitted at no cost

 

For changes requested with less than 4 weeks' notice:

• 50% refund for cancellations
• Substitution to another person permitted
• Course transfer to another date not permitted
• No refund for non-attendance

 

Special circumstances may be considered for exceptions to these policies upon provision of supporting evidence.

 

Enrolment Changes By Us

We reserve the right to cancel or modify course arrangements where necessitated by:

• Insufficient enrolment numbers
• Trainer unavailability
• Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

 

In such events, you will be entitled to:

• A full refund of your course fees; or
• Transfer to an alternative course date; or
• Substitution to a different course

 

Limitation of Liability

Except where required by law, we are not liable for any ancillary expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to:

• Travel bookings
• Accommodation costs
• Other related expenses

 

Important Note: We strongly recommend participants consider flexible booking options for travel and accommodation arrangements.

 

Privacy 

By registering for a course, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy on www.elabor8.com.au and agree with and consent to the practices described in that Privacy Policy.

 

You should also be aware that:

• we may need to provide your personal information to a third party for the purpose of administering the course or for certification purposes. These third parties may be located outside of Australia and/or New Zealand;
• we’ll collect and store any feedback you provide to us about the course; and
• we will send you future marketing communications regarding our courses, unless you advise us otherwise.

 

Online Courses

Our online courses may be offered via an online video conferencing platform such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. We do not record our online courses run through Zoom as we want to protect the privacy of our participants. 

 

We ask that you have your camera on for the duration of the online course. This is to help your facilitator assess your engagement and participation. This is also important for many of our certification partners who require proof of attendance and participation in order for you to be eligible for certification on some certified courses.

 

By enrolling in an online course you may be required to accept the relevant platform/website’s Privacy Policy and terms of use in order to access the course. We are in no way liable for any damage or loss you suffer as a result of using the platform or website. 

 

Use of Course Materials

Materials and content made available to you as a course participant are subject to copyright and other rights owned by Elabor8 Pty Ltd, its subsidiaries and corporate affiliates, or its licensors. All such material is protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Australia), Copyright Act 1994 (NZ) and/or other international copyright and intellectual property laws.

 

Unless otherwise agreed, you may only use the materials and content for your own private non-commercial use. No part of the materials and content covered by copyright should be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, or republished in any form or by any means without our written permission.
